Why Buster?
Buster was a 310-ton timber barquentine, built in Nova Scotia (Canada) in 1884 that ran aground on the front beach in Woolgoolga in 1893. The shipwreck is visible on the northern end of the beach for most of the year and is one of the most well-known and well-visited wrecks on the Coffs Coast.
